Staying up to date on all vaccinations
It’s important to stay healthy, COVID-19 vaccines available in Ontario are effective at protecting people from getting seriously ill. Health Canada recently approved Moderna and Pfizer’s new COVID vaccines, both targeting the Omicron XBB.1.5 subvariant (availability TBD). For those 5 years of age and older, only one dose is needed. For children 6 months of age and older, multiple doses may be needed depending on type of vaccine; this should be discussed with the child’s family doctor or Pediatrician.
