Who’s hiring at YYZ? May Edition

1. Manager, Airline Relations
Employer: Greater Toronto Airport Authority (GTAA)
Role: Reporting to the Manager, Airline Program Development, this role supports the overall success of new and existing airline carriers at Pearson. Responsibilities include the delivery of innovative technology programs to streamline processes, delivery of airline development products, and the joint development of services to create a hassle-free experience for travellers.
Key requirements: You’ll need superb communications and problem-solving skills, and an ability to influence and collaborate across teams in a unionized environment. In addition to a post-secondary business-related diploma, you have more than three years of management experience and more than five years in airport/airline operations and contract management.

2. Wine Bar Server
Employer: Paradies Lagardère
Role: An award-winning airport retailer and restaurateur, Paradies Lagardère is seeking a Wine Bar Server to join the team at Vino Volo at Pearson Airport, delivering premium customer service and upholding the highest safety and health standards.
Key requirements: You excel at delivering friendly and professional guest service, are knowledgeable about wine (including flavour profiles and talking points of the current list), and can effectively maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment. A valid adult-beverage certification is a must.

3. Service Delivery Manager
Employer: GardaWorld
Role: A global leader in the security industry, GardaWorld is seeking a Service Delivery Manager to guide operational efficiency on a day-to-day basis — from optimizing processes to fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Key requirements: You’ll need a post-secondary diploma (or equivalent) and a minimum of one to three years of management experience. Strong leadership and communications skills, a track record of building high-performance teams, and exceptional problem-solving abilities are essential.

4. Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
Employer: FlightExec
Role: FlightExec is one of Canada’s premier aviation businesses, offering private and corporate aircraft charters. The company is seeking a licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to join its team at its Toronto Pearson location.
Key requirements: Candidates must have a Transport Canada M1 and/or M2 license, and a valid Canadian driver’s license. You are a highly detail-oriented problem solver who can read, understand, and interpret technical publications and drawings, maintenance manuals, and blueprints. Must be willing to work on a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

5. Dayshift Parking Facility Supervisor
Employer: Indigo Park Canada
Role: Responsible for the overall smooth running of daily operations, the Supervisor serves as the point of contact for all customer inquiries and concerns, approves payroll, completes reports, and adheres to health and safety and HR policies, ensuring the highest degree of customer satisfaction.
Key requirements: The Supervisor must have excellent interpersonal, communications skills and conflict-resolution skills, two to three years of supervisor/leadership experience, and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. You are also a cautious and courteous driver, with a valid “G” license and a clean driving record.
