Restaurant Cashier 

Employer: SSP Canada 

Role: You'll be greeting customers, entering orders into the cash register, handling customer payments and keeping the area clean, among other duties.  

Key Requirements: One year of experience working in a food service environment and a high school diploma are preferred. You should have basic math skills to use the cash register and make change, and the ability to remember menu items.  

Sample Perks: A bonus program means you can earn an additional $2.50/hour for every $17.50/hour you work. 

 

Housekeeping Manager 

Employer: Compass Group Canada 

Role: You'll oversee housekeeping operations for five high-end clientele lounges, managing housekeeping staff, hiring and training. You'll track housekeeping supplies and ensure expenses align with the approved budget, and ensure excellent standards of cleanliness and service.  

Key Requirements: At least five years of management experience in a high-profile, multiple-area setting like a hotel or other hospitality environment is preferred. You also have in-depth knowledge of housekeeping procedures and strong financial management skills.

Engineer, Control Systems (Hybrid Work) 

Employer: Bombardier 

Role: You'll provide hydro-mechanical engineering support for the final line assembly of the Global aircraft. You'll provide engineered solutions to solve the aircraft’s final line production design and manufacturing issues and analyze existing systems and structural designs to make recommendations for improvements.   

Key Requirements: You have a bachelor of engineering and experience in final line/production engineering support. You also have 8–15 years' experience in aircraft hydro-mechanical systems and are comfortable with their design, qualification and certification test requirements.

Wide Body Lead 

Employer: Menzies Aviation 

Role: Overseeing a crew of 3–5 agents, you'll move cargo and baggage on and off aircraft and among airport terminals and cargo facilities. The work involves operating motorized equipment and interpreting documentation such as aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous material labels and baggage routing tags. 

Key Requirements: You have prior ramp experience, a high-school diploma, a valid G or G2 driver's license and can comfortably lift 70 pounds. You must also be able obtain airport security clearance.  

 

Quality Assurance and Operational Excellence Manager (18-month opportunity) 

Employer: Greater Toronto Airports Authority 

Role: You'll develop, implement and oversee the quality management program for the concessions team, ensuring procedures are consistently followed to comply with security regulations and department plans and programs. You’ll develop the quality control program and identify measures for tenant/unit performance and lease compliance.  

Key Requirements: You have a post-secondary diploma in quality assurance, business or concessions management and three or more years of management or leadership experience. You also have five or more years of quality assurance experience at an airport, in the concession industry or a related experience.
