YYZ recognized for accessibility improvement

Accessibility at Pearson is about creating an experience that enables everyone to participate fully in the excitement of travel and the enjoyment of reuniting with friends and family. This is reflected by our recent recognition from Airports Council International’s (ACI) Accessibility Enhancement Accreditation Program, and we’re proud to be the second airport in the world and first in North America to receive this accreditation.

The program is designed to help airports measure, evaluate, and improve their accessibility management and culture, and is the only international assessment or accreditation program solely dedicated to airports’ accessibility to passengers with disabilities.

We’re appreciative of ACI for recognizing our efforts, but more importantly, you—our Pearson team—who helped make this possible along with our partners in accessibility.
