Safety Spotlight
Proactive Reporting: Help Keep Toronto Pearson Safe!
Everyone working at Toronto Pearson plays an important role in creating a safe airport for our passengers and our airport community.
Reporting safety incidents provides information that allows us to implement preventative measures and corrective actions to avoid potential injuries. Anything that requires immediate action should be called into the Airport Operations lines in real time. Here is how you can report safety incidents and more, to proactively keep Toronto Pearson safe:
Did you know?
Emergency call boxes are available in the covered car parks and outdoor parking lots. When in an outdoor lot, if assistance is required, the call boxes are on the parking equipment at the entry/exit gates and the Pay on Foot Machines.
Proactive Safety concerns that don’t require immediate action can be emailed to safety@gtaa.com, or fill out this Reporting Form.

Pink Shirt Day: Raising awareness about bullying
Today, we recognize Pink Shirt Day, also known as Anti-Bullying Day, to raise awareness about bullying in schools, workplaces, homes, and online. This initiative started in Canada in 2007, when 12th-grade students in Cambridge, Nova Scotia, bought and distributed 50 pink shirts after a fellow student was bullied for wearing a pink shirt. Since then, 180 countries worldwide have shown their support on Pink Shirt Day each year.
Bullying has a detrimental impact on people's health and well-being, which makes it important to take a stand against it. By practicing kindness and acceptance, we can create safer and more inclusive environments for everyone.
