Orthodox Christmas was this past weekend!

Christmas is one of the most important and joyous holidays within the traditions of the Orthodox Church. Many Orthodox churches around the world use the Julian calendar for religious holidays; according to the Julian calendar, Christmas Day falls on January 7 of the Gregorian calendar. Although there is rich diversity in celebrations and traditions, many Orthodox Christian communities honour this day with special prayers, reflections, and gift giving.

To all who celebrated, we wish you and your loved ones a peaceful and happy Christmas!

Bell Let’s Talk Day on Jan 24th

Bell Let’s Talk has a vision of a Canada where everyone can get the mental health support they need.

Let’s change this:

1 in 2

More than 1 in 2 people struggling with their mental health aren't getting the help they need.

1 in 4

One in four Canadians have been experiencing high levels of anxiety.

200

More than 200 Canadians will attempt suicide everyday; twelve will die.

20

The number of opioid overdose deaths in Canada went up more than 90% during the pandemic. It’s now 20 per day.

Creating lasting change

Since 2011, Canadians and people around the globe have joined in the world’s largest conversation around mental health on Bell Let’s Talk Day. Canadians have rallied together to reduce the stigma around mental health issues, take action, and drive equitable access to support. Visit Bell to learn more about their initiative and the impact they are creating.
