Aircraft Cleaner (night shift)

Employer: Albatross Aircraft Detailing

Role: This four-days weekly, permanent part-time position involves cleaning aircraft carpets, other airplane cleaning tasks and keeping the company’s equipment clean.

Key requirements: You are detail-oriented and work well under time limits. You must be able to work holidays and late shifts, and you have your own car.

Manager, Power Systems & Energy Conservation

Employer: Greater Toronto Airports Authority

Role: This position involves leading the in-house and contracted workers who maintain Toronto Pearson's medium-voltage power distribution infrastructure and utility meters. You'll also work on Pearson's energy conservation, clean energy and greenhouse gas emission endeavours.

Key requirements: Post-secondary studies in electrical engineering or applied science (or the equivalent experience) + professional certification

Food Service Worker

Employer: Compass Group

Role: Food prep, using specified recipes and production standards (to ensure quality, serving temperatures and portions), general cleaning, setting up items for purchase and providing retail services like cashier work are some of this full-time job's responsibilities at the Air Canada Signature Suite travel lounge.

Key requirements: You'll need a FoodSafe Level 1 certification, good English skills, the ability to physically do the work and strong time management and organizational skills.

Airport Operations Officer

Employer: Bombardier

Role: This hybrid work position operates the Bombardier Pearson ramp and Airport Operations Centre, following all rules and policies. You are the main contact for communications between Bombardier Flight Operations and other company departments, and the initial contact for operations support requests to other agencies.

Key requirements: This work requires a restricted radio operators license, at least three to five years’ experience in a flight operations dispatch environment and an aviation management diploma (or the equivalent experience).

Program Manager, Corporate Initiatives (12-month term)

Employer: Greater Toronto Airports Authority

Role: You’ll help manage external partnerships and stakeholder engagement programs, executive speaking opportunities, roundtables and coalitions related to the GTAA’s corporate strategy and business objectives. Your focus will be CEO and executive team speaking engagements and earned opportunities.

Key requirements: A post-secondary degree in communications or PR, three years of relevant experience (e.g. PR, communications, executive or political staff work), experience producing executive speeches, briefing documents and presentations.

Health & Safety Supervisor

Employer: Field Aviation

Role: This company specializing in aircraft modifications, upgrades and engineering services is looking for an onsite full-time health and safety supervisor to develop, implement, monitor and evaluate its safety and emergency response policies and procedures. Responsibilities include investigating incidents, ensuring compliance, overseeing reporting, and liaising with regulators and airport services to maintain a safe environment.

Key requirements: You'll need at least five years of occupational health and safety experience promoting safety practices and culture in aviation or other industrial sectors, with a strong understanding of Part II of the Canada Labour Code and health and safety regulations. You also know workers' compensation programs and have experience with a unionized work environment.
