Contest Winner Announcement!

The winner of our ‘I Am A People Person’ Pledge is Syed from Air Canada! Nominated by his colleague Rachelle, Syed has gone above and beyond to assist passengers when their flights have been impacted by delays 👏 Congrats, Syed! You’ll be awarded a $250.00 prepaid credit card. Read more about the contest and its rules below.

Here’s what you need to know: 

• The Pledge will run from Wednesday, November 8, 2023 to Wednesday, January 3, 2024 – anyone nominated during that time will be eligible for the Grand Prize 

• Nominees will receive an ‘I Am A People Person’ pin and be entered for a chance to win the Grand Prize – a $250 prepaid credit card 

• Airport workers can be nominated for three different criteria: 

• Champion of Passengers: This person has gone out of their way to help a passenger; given to someone who shows initiative to go above and beyond to put passengers first 

• Pearson Proud: This person takes pride in their work and goes above and beyond to create a warm, inviting environment for colleagues and passengers at Toronto Pearson; given to someone who never hesitates to call in an issue when they see one, puts things back where they belong and tidies up where possible 

• Passionately Productive: This person raises awareness of a process change or finds efficiencies to better improve performance coming into the Winter season 

• Nominees will be contacted every Wednesday until the contest’s closing date 

• Nominations will not be accepted unless all fields of the nomination form are completed
