Assistant Restaurant Manager, Boccone

Employer: SSP Canada 

Role: Partnering with the general manager, you'll help lead the restaurant team. You'll recruit, train and develop the team, implement and maintain guest service standards, evaluate team member performance, help monitor sales performances and manage all office tasks, among other duties.

Key requirements: These include at least two years of management experience in the food and beverage industry, experience in casual dining and a proven ability to manage conflict and ensure successful outcomes.

Ground Transportation Specialist

Employer: GTAA

Role: You'll monitor all groundside transportation, ensure standards are met and dispatch contract staff. You'll work with internal and external partners to maintain high standards of safety, customer service and operational efficiency within Pearson's ground transportation network.

Key requirements: Post-secondary diploma/degree focusing on aviation management and/or business management (or education and work experience equivalent), three years of experience in airport/airline/ground handler operations or similar experience in scale and complexity are some of the requisites.

Structural Designer (Engineering)

Employer: Bombardier

Role: You'll prepare structural and systems layouts, interface drawings, installations, assembly and detail drawings; provide technical direction to junior design engineers and provide technical solutions to production lines for all structural and system installation issues, among other responsibilities.

Key requirements: These include a bachelors or Masters degree in aeronautical or mechanical engineering, at least five years of experience in airframe primary and secondary structural design (including systems installations) and knowledge of CATIA V4/V5.

Wildlife Control Officer

Employer: Falcon Environmental

Role: To lessen wildlife hazard risks at different contract sites (and potentially at Pearson in the future), you'll learn and develop wildlife abatement and dispersal skills such as discharging pyrotechnics, deploying falconry birds and trapping. You'll also maintain company vehicles and equipment and complete daily activity reports, among other duties.

Key requirements: You can work alone or as part of a team, are in good physical shape and can pass an enhanced CSIS background check. A wildlife technical certificate or degree related to wildlife management and previous experience working with animals are some of the assets listed.

Manager of Operations, Baggage

Employer: GTAA

Role: This work ensures the flow of baggage to and from aircraft by leading all aspects of "day of" activities. You'll proactively monitor apron and terminal baggage systems activity and performance, supervise activities in the baggage control room and actively monitor the SCADA, raising issues as necessary. 

Key requirements: At least three years of experience managing or leading people; at least three years of airport experience or similar experience serving a large, complex customer base, a valid Ontario G driver's license and the ability to obtain an airside driver's license are some of the requirements.
